When partnering with Catherine’s Health Center, we wanted to have something authentic and something that would connect with their message directly.
Healthcare is a top priority for a majority of people and we are no exception.
We spent two days with a team from Catherine’s, working with real doctors and real dentists. The purpose of this was to create that authentic atmosphere that people are looking for. Stock imagery is no longer an acceptable form of story telling and when it comes to their health people want to see real. They want to see something that resonates with them, something that would draw them into making the decision to become a patient.
Why have your own custom image library instead of purchasing stock?
We wanted a collection of our own stock photography for a few reasons.
First, at Catherine's we really believe in creating a partnership with our patients. As we create outreach material and update our communications, we wanted to ensure that our patients would recognize the faces they saw on flyers, social media points, and our website. The smiling faces of our staff members in promotional materials were important elements for us to include!
Second, the burden of designing materials is alleviated even just a little bit since we will have our own photos! Otherwise, we must pay repeatedly for stock photography or spend time looking for free photos. And, those photos are not personal to our space and our people.
With the current health relevancy of Covid-19 it was also important that we show masked and unmasked people for marketing materials to be used during and after the pandemic. These images were meant to last.
What was your experience like working with us?
We have really enjoyed working with Bird & Bird Studio. It has been a fantastic experience all around. You guys have always been so accommodating with our ever-changing schedules and flexible when switching up locations.
