Brandy Arnold is queen of community. She's a Program Coordinator at Kids Food Basket, and her list of volunteer experience and activism is miles long. She believes "strong neighborhoods need strong schools" and specifically works toward equity and creating more opportunities for children in education. But she loves getting involved in anything that will benefit the community. She was a volunteer for the Challenge Scholars program, working in media and helping kids write and edit. She's on committees for East Hills Loves Congress, a group supporting Congress Elementary School, and Grand Rapids Symphony Community Engagement, aiming to get the younger generations interested in the symphony. On top of that, she 's also on boards for the East Hills Council of Neighbors and Spoke Folks. Seriously, she does all that. She truly is a superstar.
